The layered body of the Dreadnought PF10CE-OPN is made of a spruce front board and an okoumé back and sides. A merbau fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the exotic nyatoh wood neck. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by white position dots.
Sufficient volume for the needs of public performance or playing with a band is provided by Ibanez AEQ-2T electronics with an integrated tuner built into the guitar’s bellows and an underblock piezo pickup. The strings are mounted in chrome Die-Cast tuning machines and a merbau fingerboard. Ibanez Advantage pegs in the headstock offer the advantages of easy handling and firm string attachment over standard models. The austere design is enhanced by a laser-engraved rosette.
