The goal of NUX Monterey Vibe was to replicate the opulent, multi-layered, psychedelic rock guitar sound of the 1960s and 1970s. It offers all traditional Uni-vibe type choices, including the Phaser pedal, Rotary Speaker, and Chorus. A distinctive effect tone, a blend of chorus, tremolo, rotary, and phaser, is produced by NUX Monterey Vibe. Pink Floyd's "Breathe," Robin Thrower's "Bridge of Sighs," and Jimi Hendrix's eerie aural ambiance for "Machine Gun" all include this distinctive tone.
